Juan Rabasa Lavarello
Juan is a lawyer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, with a Masters degree in Criminology and Statistics from the University of Lausanne and Neuchatel (Switzerland), and doctoral studies in Law from the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. He has combined scientific research and university teaching at the University of Lausanne and was a consultant to the Federal Office of Public Health in Bern, Switzerland. He is currently a Legal Advisor in the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion. He has served as a lawyer and consultant in public policy in various state agencies at the three levels of government in Peru. He is a Board Member of the Comunidad Cristiana para la Familia (Christian Community for the Family). Juan believes that participating in A Rocha Peru is a means to encourage and promote the implementation of Christian values in the face of today’s challenge of caring for the natural resources and ecosystem that the Lord has placed in our hands for our development.
