Kamaykuna Network

Trujillo

The Kamaykuna Network is a community of young volunteers from the National University of Trujillo, supported by A Rocha Peru, that promotes the active participation of younger generations in nature conservation and environmental stewardship.

Through environmental education, volunteer work, and hands-on learning, the network provides a space for sharing knowledge, developing skills, and strengthening young people’s commitment to protecting biodiversity.

Its members participate in various initiatives, such as cleanup days in natural areas, educational workshops, wildlife monitoring activities, and environmental awareness campaigns, contributing to the conservation of ecosystems such as the dry forests of northern Peru.

In this way, the Kamaykuna Network seeks to inspire more young people to become agents of change, promoting collaborative work and shared responsibility for caring for our planet.
